Our story began in a very modern way, on the dating app Hinge. But from our very first conversation, we both felt that something special was unfolding. We instantly clicked, and that sense of ease and curiosity carried right into our first date at a local Thai restaurant. Matthew was a little nervous, and Amanda came prepared with plenty of thoughtful (and thorough!) questions. What could have been intimidating quickly turned into an evening full of laughter, genuine conversation, and the feeling that this was just the beginning.

From that night on, we grew closer in a way that felt natural and meaningful, building our relationship on shared values, mutual respect, and a lot of joy in simply being together. As time went on, it became clear that we had found something truly lasting. On February 28th, in a quiet and intimate setting with just the two of us, Matthew asked Amanda to spend forever with him—and she said yes.
